He was born in 1936 and is from Hyogo Prefecture.
In 1956, won the Mayor's Prize at the Toyooka City Art Exhibition and exhibited 66 consecutive times; in 1957, won the Governor of Tokyo Award at the National Workers' Art Exhibition; In 1959, won the Governor's Prize at the National Workers' Art Exhibition; in 1960, won the Encouragement Prize at the Himeji City Art Exhibition; in 1971, won the Hyogo Museum of Modern Art Prize at the Hyogo Prefecture The Dokurirtsu Exhibition; in 1988, traveled to Spain for research; in 1990, won the Excellence Prize at the 16th Canadian International Art Exhibition; and has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in Japan and abroad.
