She was born in 1942 and is from Hyogo Prefecture.
She specializes in "Sogeiga," abstract works inlaid with old kimono cloth and Japanese paper. She has received many awards both in Japan and abroad. She has held many solo exhibitions. Participated in many group exhibitions.
