He was born in 1949 and is from Saitama Prefecture.
Studied under Hiroshi Nishihara, Toru Koyano, and Kazuo Yoshida. In 1975, he exhibited his work for the first time at the Shinkyo Art Exhibition, and has exhibited every year since. He has also exhibited at the Shinwa Art Exhibition, the River Painting Grand Prize Exhibition, and the Human Anthem Grand Prize Exhibition. He was awarded the 45th Shinkyo Exhibition Member Effort Award, the 6th Human Anthem Grand Prize Exhibition Honorable Mention Award, and many other awards. Held 10 solo exhibitions. (Ginza Seiko Gallery, Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan, etc.)
